Okay, I'm using a Windows XP system with jaws 9.0 just so people know in case this matters with my question.

I would like to ad some music to a webpage, but the courses on the W3C site doesn't seem to cover this.

Does anyone know if I can use songs off one of my cd's?
If not, does anyone know where is a good website to find free or nearly free wave or midi files to use?
Also, does anyone know the code to write music into a webpage?

Please, people with experience or helpful knowledge respond.

Oh, if cd music is copyrighted, why then can you put it on your computer and burn it to another cd?

is there a particular song you are looking for a particular music artist that you desire to like, showcase. I am not certain if I can be of help, except to say I am willing to try.

You could probably rip it and upload it. That's what I do to put my music on websites. I rip them to mp3 and then upload it to my desired website.

I thought I might be able to rip it and then ad it, but my site isn't on the web yet because I have to write all code by hand since most of those stupid template things aren't accessible. That's why I'm wondering if anyone knows the code to write it into the webpage design. I can make a separate folder with the song, but what is the code I need to put on the particular web page to tell that page to play the song?
There's no particular artist as I just want something soft so as not to overpower a screen reader and not for each page, but I would like something to play on the celtic page I have.
